.png's As Walls?

Is it possible to have .png's as walls? Cos i'd quite like to do some walls on Fireworks.

1. Yes (99.9% sure).

2. You usually save as PNG files in Fireworks and export for use (JPG/GIF/TIFF etc).

I recommend IrfanView. It's a very light weight progarm (<1mb) and can open EVERY kind of image file. Also can save as any format. I've never had an image it wouldn't open. Can't do any editting (other then resize & rotate). But for what I do, it's perfect. Oh, and it's free.

you can do that with irfanview... in fact any type of image file irfanview supports can be made a wallpaper. open up the file, then go up to 'options', 'set as wallpaper'... there you'll have the usual options of centered, tiled, stretched.

and deleted is right, there's pretty much nothing that irfanview can't open or save... ever since i first used it, there's been nothing else i found that i like. but there are other things that can be done besides resize/rotate... it can do basic color enhancement (brightness, contrast, RGB, gamma)... some effects like blur, oil paint, emboss, sharpen, etc... and no, i'm not a salesman... :D
