Files Submission At Dotwac.com

To all developers

I plan to give an ftp account to all developers here so that you can upload your files to my site through ftp. You can use my site to host your files or you can use it as a mirror if you already have a site. Its something like wincustomize and deviantart, but I will only accept applications (osx emulated applications or utilities software for windows modification).

The files should be in zip format which include the applications files or folder, readme which include all the details explanation about the applications and the author and if possible screenshots.

I really need your opinion/comments/suggestions and if I got a positive response I will give the login and password. Post your response here.....

Non developers also can give your response. If you have some files that you think useful and want to share it with aqua communities you can upload to my site too...but please give the credit to the author

Just to ask your opinion, whether to allocate just one ftp account to all developer or to give one to each of you.....

IMHO...give one to each...therfore there cant be a he said she said my apps better than yours *delete* opps thing going on. Makes more work for you but less for the developers. also how many gigs of bandwitch to you get a month damn!

I think one to each of us is better idea. Someone can delete (not specially of course) some file and what then? Will he be suspended for stupid mistake? Or maybe everybody will kill him / her?

@GAngel - Right now looks like you the only one interested to submit your files on my site. I think I will give only 5 ftp account to developer here, and one for GAngel of course just 4 left.

i like making and modding icons using microangelo and i like showing how i mod aqua-like progs to look more aqua-ish(for example i edited danimators trillian skin to have my buddy icon in there instead of the brushed metal default icon thing and it now says TBBJetGrindRadio instead of iChat AV. i would like to host screenies there and icons. i am in the process of modding an icon i recnetly downloaded. it is looking real kewl. if you give me ftp i would like the username to be (duh) TheBigB

@TheBigB - I'm sorry dude, but right now I will offer an ftp account to developer only because right now my site just hosted an applications only. Maybe in the future if I start put icons, skins and wallpaper in my site I will give an ftp account to those created that.

But if you would like to develop an applications I will give you an account.

i want to develop apps so i want my username. btw i don't know how though. oh and the pics i would put on there would just be stuff like an avatar so i could have one other than this kitten like one of my own cat and maybe some screenies for apps to see how i customized my comp (for example i modded danimator's ichat av trillian skin to have my buddy icon instead of the metal default buddy icon) and if you insist i would even delete them afterwards.

The jBox development is permanently stopped. I think I will make a Transparency-enabled iShut.....

On the iATM Panther, it reaches 0.3.7b development, with fixed bugs and new UI interface. Completely overhauled.

I think I need an account.... My host is kicking my ass.

you gave jed one this month. me want account! i have been wanting to post a real windows screenie and a tweaked one. they are both huge even in png or jpg! (btw jed if i'm not mistaken the atm on my screenie is iatm but i don't have the new version. probably alpha one well time for me to go check alang's site to see if you put iatm up yet. well what i do know is as soon as i get my username and password for my friend alex's machine i will have my own site (cybrian.com) with no bandwidth restrictions, t1 speed, and some other stuff i forgot.

My current hosting only give me 25 ftp account, but my new server next month will give an unlimited ftp account. So right now my priority is to give a ftp account to those that already create something like jed, jib and gangel

Because I don't want people to abuse my space and bandwidth with a useless item.

BTW if you already got hosted at your friends server with an unlimited bandwidth than its good for you. Start creating something.... (Y)

so why can't you give me an ftp account now? i want a place to publicly put things and since i have my own domain name it's only temporary. well i'll email alex and ask him but he doesn't know my new address and i think he's a bit paranoid. he even put an https on my server (though it points to the wrong page and has an invalid certificate)
