How Does Ichat Av Work?

I have a couple questions about iChat AV. I like to chat online and webcam over MSN 6 on my PC. Would I still be able to webcam with PC buddies over MSN on a mac using iChat AV? Or does iChat only go through AIM with PCs? And can I ues my Logitech camera as my webcam on a mac or do I need to specifically buy the iSight?
