did someone have drivers for SB Live 5.1 SB0100

the one from creative site don't detect card !!!

Are you sure you installed them properly?

The only drivers we would be able to get are the same as the ones you can download from Creative's site - they are, after all, using a unified driver architecture...

I have that same card, and the drivers works correctly. Try using a different PCI slot.

now i am working with microsoft drivers

sound is distorted

i tried to chang pci slot

is this card damaged ?

finally i found the solution for my problem :lol:

If u have the same try this:

- SB Live 5.1 must be in a master pci slot (not shared IRQ too !!)

- and it must be on a slot that is far from other card

- change ACPI Processor in XP into advanced ACPI

Now it work fine !!

but its complicated and there is many drivers from creative labs that r not compatible with all revisions :

ex : SB0060 SB0100 SB0102 SB0220.... (are Sound Blaster Live 5.1 Digital!!)

Check the product number on the card itself and make sure its correct. I have the SB0100 and the drivers work alright. I have problems with them sometimes. Windows update has some drivers on it for the card, try those if the creative ones dont work.
