[Release] TunesOB "6 Variations" Theme for ObjectBar by MartinGy2k

I fixed some bugs, reworked the images, got rid of the shadows.

It's pretty clean now. All downloads in one post.

Update! version 4.2 (Get used to it)

Now looks even more like the one at top this page!

I added the Finder button w/menu(far left),

The house button pops down another menu,

I skinned the Task section(it leaves a small bubble when all is closed).

You can remove the task section if you are happy with the finder.

The font is Lucinda Sans Unicode and it's included in the extras folder. You need to install it if you don't have it already.

Any comments are welcome.

You might need to fix the links for some of the shortcuts in the menu.

Right click the shortcut you need to fix and select item options/behavior/edit behavior...

Then browse to the correct location.

Don't forget to save your changes (right click the OB tray icon).

i like it, is there some way to chage the font and font size easily though in object bar? its pretty big. thanks. great job

The font is Lucinda Sans Unicode and it's included in the extras folder.

C:\Program Files\Object Desktop\ObjectBar\TunesOB_thin\Extras\Lucida Sans Unicode.ttf

Sorry I forgot to mention that. Just drag it into your Windows\Fonts folder (open 2 windows and drag it). If you still want to make it smaller after you install the font, just open the file

C:\Program Files\Object Desktop\ObjectBar\TunesOB\Skins\AquaBar\TunesOB\TunesOB.obskin

and change (open the file with a text editor)

FontHeight=17

(Depending on weather you are using thick or thin version, FontHeight=16 for thin) To

 the next lower number in all eleven columns

Hopefully you just need to install the font. Happy hacking! :canadian:

I already tried that and it didn't work. The section background would not contract when the menu names change, it would remain at the widest and look like crap. Maybe someone else knows a trick and could do it.

I found a bug with the taskbar section skin, so I unskined that section. If you downloaded it before I got a chance to fix the file, then please download it again. If the task section of the bar is just icons you have the corrected file.

When I finally got around to closing all my windows I noticed the bug, a gap between the left and right ends. I'll have to brainstrom on it till I work it out. But it still has the menu skinned, because it's always there. I hope that makes since. :canadian:

good work... now if only i had an accurate panther skin (with pictures for the menu items like on yours so there could be command and option and shift icons) i only have xero's and i modded it to use stuff from your bars but personally i would rather have one with the panther stuff. could someone make one for me/point one out? thx.

Hi guys .. i got a problem with 4.2

I downloaded it, but my Object bar puts it under de windows normal taskbar ... cause i got windows taskbar in the top of the screen. I have tried several ways to remove the windows taskbar or to hide it, but without succes. can u help me ?? i Have ObjectBar 1.6 .. the public version, cause i live in habana, cuba and here i cannot purchase anything online.

@LoKoTe: If you don't mind having the windows taskbar on the bottom of screen, you can drag it down by put your cursor next to start button, press left mouse button, and drag. If you want to leave it on top of screen you can make it hide. Right click the taskbar and click properties, put a check mark by Auto-Hide the TaskBar.

I leave my windows taskbar on bottom and auto-hide it so Yz Dock will work at the bottom.

BTW: The thin version of the normal bar is allmost finished.

Thanks silencedge, if you don't mind you can download it again because I updated it some more. I sharpened up the brushed tabs, made the font smaller since it was crowded, fixed a few minor bugs.

Sorry for so many updates. Just switch themes to something else and then delete the folder in Program F....\Bla bla bla\Bla bla bla\TunesOB_Brushed_blue4.2

Download, unzip and click the new file.
