What application(s) are used to embed a calendar and clock on the desktop?

many people like samurize. it's highly configurable, simple (once you get the hang of it), very functional, and free.

i've added a calendar script to my config, as in the image.

but desktopx, clockx, and rainlendar are all nice as well. it just depends on what you want.

Is there anything like ClocX that uses less memory? I also tried samurize, but it's confusing as hell. I also can't seem to find a good analog clock script/config for samurize nor can I find a moderna look-a-like for samurize's easycalendar. I could edit the .ini's, but I'm not really familiar or comfortable with the program.

I'm using ClocX with the calendar that comes with the stickies app from Dotwac.com. No problems there!

I've also used one of the clocx.png for my objectdock clock...Aqua square I think!...looks nice!
