Haha, that's hilarious. Love the license plate. Come on up to Montgomery County, I'd love to give that baby a whirl. What kind of transmission does it have? (better be a stick-shift on that baby ;))

I've never really understood why Americans call manual transmissions/gearboxes "stick shifts". Yes, I can understand that you shift gears with a stick, but why not just "Manual" and "Automatic"?

Nice car, by the way. Over here in the UK, we have to have our actual registration front and back, so you'd have to have that as your registration to do that... I'm thinking I might get my car re-registered under "OSH 111T" ;)

Why do you say "lift" and we say "elevator"? They are just words....LOL

Anyway...to answer the question, it's a 1998 model and the manual transmission was not available in that year in the states.

And yes, the car is registered as "AQUA-SFT". Many states in the US require a license plate on both the front and rear.

Oh, I know, but words are important, and I find the history of language a fascinating thing...

As for it being registered as that... I never knew that - I always thought the front was optional...
