it's less than 1mb and supports everything trillian does and more.
icons and backgrounds are skinable, there are already mac style icons/bgs out actually.

you guys could've atleast told us about it then ![]()
i'm using the iChat background and icons for it.
the only thing i don't like are the message windows, anyone came across a plugin to change how they look?
yeah, miranda has been around for a while now. there has been some migration from trillian, though, because of the modularity and configurability of miranda. plus it's open source.
more skinning may be available in v1.0 when the code is rewritten, but as of now, i don't think there's a way to change it.
thanks for the reply
but i've fiddled about with it abit and i've got it looking 'ok' for now.
i'd quite like to get around to doing this to it though http://screenshots.haque.net/screenshots/v...enshot-7886.jpg

1.0 will have UI plugins so someone could write a trillian type skin interface if they wanted. But myself, I picked Miranda because it skins from the system skin (VS\WB skin). So I'm glad it'll remain modular.
