How exactly does one *dual* boot OSX and XP? That's impossible. Please explain.
I am assuming you are using OS X on an apple and have windows XP running under virtual PC for Macintosh. Since the only other way to go about running both OS's would be to have a G4 built in a PC case with a PC inside case also (email me if interested in building such a systemadmin@session13.com) or 2 systems on your desktop.
But in both cases, the best way to go about this is to use an Edimax 900 series KVM switch(this brand allows it to be reversed with a dip switch on back to go from 2 keyboards to one system). Then you would use the hot keys to switch between the two keyboards.
Perhaps you haven't thought about having a switchbox with one keyboard/mouse and monitor hooked up to two different computers?

I have a KVM switch at work hooked up to 4 different PC's.
But that is CERTINLY not "dual" booting. That's 4 seperate pc's. Dual booting is having 2 OS's on ONE computer.

I donno if that was a reply to my post or not. Maybe i've had too many coors lights. But you know what I meant. "dual" booting is running 2 OS's natively on 1 PC. Not through emulation. I can "quad" boot on one machine if we're including VM's.

Correct inspector gnubug. I am running on virtual PC... but like I sed my apple keyboard isn't working when I open virtual PC... :rant:
