Rainlander + Dx

Ok, someone help me out. This not only happens with rainlander, but with samurize.

If i don't have DX open, and I have rainlander open. It's on my desktop just fine. As soon as I open DX, rainlander just disappears off my desktop. Same with samurize. Every once in a while, I can get it to show, but eventually it just disappears.

Any idea, of how I can get them [samurize/rainlander] to still show OK when DX is open? Is there a setting I can change? wtf is the deal?
