[preview] Objectsplash 2004

He guys,

Here is a preview of a new program Me and Beric created called EDIT: ObjectSplash 2003

objectsplash_ad.jpg

Information:

This program is similar to SplashPanel, but ObjectSplash flashes custom icons as the progressbar -_- .

I'm still working on a skinpackage for ObjectSplash but for now it comes with three skins:

osx.jpg

osx2.jpg

slate.jpg

Setup is pretty much the same:

The program will be released soon.

Thoughts/Comments?

Nice idea. Good work to both of you! (Y)

Do the icons just appear one at a time or do they zoom-out one after the other?

#82815

One after the other

#82819

cool idea. can't wait to skin it.

#82821

Great Idea Guys. I love the first Panther skin. It would go great with my current setup. Can't wait for the release.

Grea idea (Y)

Are these icons animated? I mean do they fade in/out?

Oh, I can re-make the brushed skin for you ;)

#82841

idea: Have this app load/open the apps it displays.

that way I dont have to rely on my startup folder and the icons would coincide. Plus, I hate the boot times that sometimes occur when you have to waiut for things to load on start up.

@ Duckie

Edit: Good idea, I might do so in a version 2 because i would have to recreate the whole app.

@Pe7er

in the 2.0 release of objectsplash i might make the icons fade in

And sure you can remake the brushed skin for me PM me if you want my msn.

UPDATE:

1. ObjectSplash 2004 has been renamed to ObjectSplash 2003

due to many new features I'm adding to the 2.0 version (which will be called 2004)

2. The 1.0 release will be just like the screenshots blinking Icons

A. Change the Icon's caption

B. Change the speed of how fast the icons pop up

C. Change the icons

D. Change Skins

3. The 2.0 release, each icon will represent an app that is loading.

A. You can customize each icon and which app you want to launch.

B. Icons will fade in (which might not be in the 2.0 release)

Thats all for now

It looks great, but what does it do, exactly?

it is similar to splashpanel but the "Icons" are the progress bar.

Later it will launch programs one by one.

Keep up the great work, guys. (Y)
