Extracting .dmg

i wonder if u can extract .dmg files to obtain the icons in there

i noe u can unzip and extract .sit files,and then convert .icns to .ico, but how about .dmg files??

There's a program called TransMac, which allows you to read *.dmg files in Windows. Doesn't work all the time though. See this thread.

From the thread

Open Transmac. On second pane i mean "mac folder" pane click "mac drive" pulldown menu. select "volume image file" than locate your .dmg file

in listbox select the files you want to extract from .dmg file. right click on them and select "copy selected" paste it into "pc files" pane.
