So your a PC/Linux user who has ported an SS original?

I get so many emails from users of other operating systems letting me know that they have created their own ports of my work for their platforms it astounds me. I'll be very frank with you, the only community I am worried about is the Macintosh community; I create the OSX originals and strive for bug free, well thought and well executed GUI's. I do not endorse any particular port of my work for these other platforms. I do not attempt to regulate ports

im not exactly sure wht he means, is he saying that he doesnt want other people to release ports for other platforms or is he saying people can make and release them?

I'm "guessing" he means, as long as you give him credit for the orginal and dont make a OSX version you can do it without getting permission from him.

Just curious - but it seems that the apple icons on the left side of the bar are virtually identical (pixel by pixel) to the "Aluminum Alloy" mac theme by Max Themes, ported to Windows by Kol. I could be wrong, correct me if I'm mistaken.

If this is the case, however, you'd have to recieve permission from Max, since it's his original work.

Zimky - erm, even the colors are exact to Aluminum Alloy. But if this is a port of the SS powermetal bar, shouldn't it have the original SS powermetal apple?

i think hes saying that hes not going to put any restrictions on ports - that anyone is open to making a port, but does so on there own without help from him.
