Iphoto News

For those who were asking me in private messages. YES I do continue to work on iPhoto ;) . I've worked hard on speed and resources improvements and I get something like 30% more speed for the rendering process, but I can do better than that!! These days i've been working on the edit part of the program, but it's hard to find good (and fast) source code on graphix algorithms (contrast, brightness and stuff). If you have good pointers on this matter, i would really appreciate your help.

I had a lot of people complaining about the scrollbar or buttons that didn't look right. I know that, if it's not perfect, this is because I don't want to spend to much time on this. This will be fixed when I have the time!!! Besides, if someday I decide to give up because I can't spend more time on this project, I want the hardcore part of the program done, so that people can continue. Don't worry, I don't plan to give up yet !!! :D

BTW, I have a two weeks free for christmass and I'll work on iPhoto, but I also have to find a job and it takes a lot of my time. You can expect an alpha release ASAP, maybe at the end of those two weeks (second week of january 2003)
