Aren't they on the new Alienware commercials?

Cool cases, i would like to have it. But i don't think they sell the case separately. Sorry for my poor English.

Well, there's not super new, but they are cool. I still prefer my Dragon style for size reasons, but I thought the Predators were cool enough to make an icon set a while back: http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/2419651/.

When Apple announces that they will sell their cases, then it's a time for us to rejoice.

Alienware will probably sell theirs to the general public before elppA, and I don't see that happening soon either (for the same reasons pretty much).

Can you buy the alinware cases alone, I'd like to hook my PC up with one??:blink: Those leds are bangin'

#80656

have you seen one in real life? they are "naughty word"ing huge! it wouldnt fit in side my desk

[edit]hey dont censor me!

#80678

Then don't use fu(k.

The older cases where built by a third-party company, yet I don't know if these are nr. They look pretty exclusive.

#80680

I have one and it's huge. But i do have a lot of hardware inside that puppy. So yeah. The finish on them isnt as glossy as i had expected. Its more of a flat spray paint job, i was dissappointed. And a few of the led's are really annoying because they blink with intel monitor installed, dont ask me why.

#80685

If you get a top of the line maxed out system, the price is like $11,000. I can get a freaking car for that.

#80691

style is definitlely a matter of opinion

there's no way i'd pay for a computer in that case

No, that was my point. They won't sell the case alone for the same reason elppA wouldn't. They don't want someone building their own system in their case design (or worse reselling an inferior system in their case design and making them look bad).

heh...yeah, that's why I made the comment about size. They're basically a Dragon-like case with some extra molded stuff slapped on the outside.

The Dragon cases were built by Chieftec with an exclusive bezel in the front. The Predators are built for them by somebody else, but the whole case is exclusive.

could you not say that in 1 single post?

In retrospect, probably, but hindsight is always 20/20.
