Aqua-Soft ForumsI'm wondering why posting of replies to threads in the Icon Releases section is restricted. This restriction seems rather pointless and counter-productive to me. Some people would like comments to the icons they released, but posting in the Releases section does not allow that. And if the links to some of the sets are dead or down, and someone else is kind enough to want to provide mirrors (take the recent Panther Icons thread for instance), they can't do that.

Just relax and PM the author.
If someone wants to offer a link, they can PM a Mod or Admin.
Instead of properly addressing the issue that I have raised, and answering my question of why posting replies in that section is restricted/prohibited, I'm being accused of being a post-count freak and someone who posts countless and counterproductive replies. Well, I guess feedback is not that welcomed around this forum. Oh well ....

I stand by my reply in that he could have just PM'ed one of us.
And his post was just as inflammatory as mine by calling our choices rather pointless and counter-productive.
Yes, i know he is a valued member, but even the oldest members are forgetful sometimes.

Just because you mention that one has made 1000 post doesn't mean that they also think it's important. I hate post counts, but I mentioned it when I hit the 1000 mark.

I dont see anything wrnog with the fact you download the releases without replying back. Feedback is great, but imo nobody among the members really care about who or what people post but the downloads themselves.
I wanted to make it in that way so it'll be efficiant. Like a download page.
