Post Count

I know the post count is not gone. just...sorta hiding... You can't see it on normal forum pages but when you click on someones name, it brings up sorta something like a profile in which you see ur b day and website, aim, msnim , blah, blah blah, and your post count. My question is, since the post count data is not gone, can we have it back?

This is a paradox that will never be solved. When the post counts are not there, people complain because that can't see how long or how into it the person is into their post. When it is there, people complain that it is discriminating and that the post counts don't tell you anything. I doubt that Timmy will bring them bakc. The only thing that has a chance will be the Respect which most of us here like.

wiz, you had like 1000 posts, i'd rather have post count then respect, i was starting to get respect actually, but thats stupid since a person can be rated positivly or negativly for no reason, and mods can't check on 9000 people's respect all of the time to see if it is just.

I never said I did like the post counts. In fact I did not like them at all. You can see a persons post count by clicking their name on their post and it brings you to a screen that has all the registered information about the member. The Respect is gone in entirety.

But; it will hopefully be replaced with a /. type moderstion, which is a much more round about fare way.

As for the post count. I *LOVED* it. Not so much as seeing what other people have, but more as watching mine slowly go up. I hit 200 last weekend. (YA so that's not much to you, but I like watching it) Of course I can click my name and see. But that's much more inconvienent. And like a few days ago, (I think you even replied) someone who was like the 190 something member made a post, but it was only his 11th post. It shows you who really IS active, and who idles.

they can spam here contra it doesnt effect their post count, it doesnt in half of the forums HAR HAR HAR it will be gone tonight.
