Aqua-Soft ForumsHey, haven't been using MobyDock for long, or any others, just started and love the look of them all.. The only problem I've got is that all of them (ie. Moby, Object and Y'z) all seem to store their configuration files in the same location as the program (eg. C:\Program Files\MobyDock).
Why exactly don't they get stored with the users profile, to allow each person to have their own dock? I thought that maybe I had missed something, so I did a bit of poking around on here and elsewhere on the web and couldn't find any info on it... Surely it wouldn't be that hard to program in/reg hack/whatever to tell the program to look for it's config files in, lets say for WinXP, C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\MobyDock.. You can do the same thing for Win2k. With Win9x, if it isn't in a single user environment, then you can use C:\Windows\Profiles\username\Application Data\MobyDock..
Can someone shed some light on how this can be done, if it can be done? And if it can't be done, why not? Would be a very handy feature in my opinion..
