Well I finally got Windows XP, but the compatibily thing says I have blocking issues? I don't know what those are but they are preventing me from installing Windows XP.
It says something about SCSI Highpoint HPT366 Ultra DMA 66 Controller.
How do I fix this? Do I need a completely new computer or what?

sounds weird.. did you buy your windows copy ??
SCSI is a paralell bus, so it must be a problem w/ your HD or CD or floppy
I wish that upgrade thing included information on how to fix the problem and specified exactly what the problem is. It makes me depressed

What this is saying is that XP has problems reading your raid/highpoint scsi card. But don't worry it can still work. All you need to do is install your third party scsi software before installing windows.
I may be wrong but I think you'll have to do a clean install (which I would recommend anyway)? So no upgrading from win9x to XP I'm afraid.
What to do:
Boot from the XP cd and when the blue DOS setup screen appears, before everything else, it will display a message in the bottom 'status bar' white strip thingie that asks you tro press F6 (I think) to install third-party Raid/Scsi drivers. Press F6, install the drivers that come with your SCSI card and then XP setup will continue.
It's been a while since I needed to do this so if I were you i'd try installing XP on a dual boot with your existing OS. Excellent instructions can be found here. Or simply look up SCSI/Raid card installation guidelines in MSDN.
