How do I edit the XP startmenu, default type? I can see different people has done some nice edits, and I want to do it to.
I am talking about the right column, where My Computer and such is located.

the start menu text is shared with the desktop icon text, so when you change the icon text on the dtop, it will change the startmenu text
But I want to add more icons on the right column of the start-menu...
right click the start menu, properties, customize, advnaced, then add what you want
I can only choose from a list there, I want to add my own things, f.ex. mIRC or whatever..
on the left side of it, you can add whatever yu want, either drag it there or right click and select pin to start menu
Yeah...drag them on...or 'pin to start menu'.
that should do it.

You knwo where there's my music oflder and so on... how do you get rid of the text for example?
i know i can add my documetns or remove it or add my favorites, but this only works with predefined shortcuts.. i cant put there my university files folder for example... or my websites...
