Aqua-Soft Forumsberic stopped his production of preview for windows. could someone else please start creating one? i don't want to be pushing it but if you can make it compatible with longhorn 4051 and xp then i'd like that.

Sure everybody wants preview for xp but it might or might not ever happen. People have lives other than A-S and it's community. You can't just come in here and make demands for a program that would take time and resources to make. If you took the time to look you would of found alternatives, I'm not a pc guru so I don't know of any. All I want you to do is think before you post something saying "I WANT I WANT"

And if everyone else has their first request for a program, then all the great developers will leave.
You can mod the Windows Preview icons but that is the best. To make a preview, you need to get code to view every single file type (PDF, PNG, MOUSE). It would cost a lot to obtain the right for some files or a tremendous amount of research. It is feasable, but unlikley.

but to answer your question im not sure if someone will make a preview for windows... as alot of the developers are busy with other projects. but you never know!

i was waiting for that program for soooooooo long, and it was close to being done too
oh well.....
i hope he finishes sherlock, that would be cool. the "progress bar" thing hasnt moved a mm for about 3 months though. maybe i should learn how to write programs....
check out picasa. Its iPhoto without the icon, name, and with a milk interface.
edit: nevermind, my mind was in a diffrent place at a diffrent time.

There are already several nice image previewers for XP, and some of them freeware.
I use XnVeiw myself and quite like it.

on a side not again are thoes real picasa skins iberic has planned on his site? I didnt know it was skinable.
They had one which was an Aqua-App but aqua apps have stopped...

it is skinnable, but only for those who are good with layers
What do you mean about layers? Phoshop´s layers ?
There´s a tutorial or something about it! I could try to do iPhoto skin!
I´ll search on Picasa website and there´s nothing about skinning
i found a preview program (2 actually one by alilm which is in my opinion the best one of the 2 and one made by hypeb0le that looks like it uses aquacontrols but it doesn't.) and i am too lazy to download picasa. well maybe i will end up downloading it. i downloaded those panther icons the one with over 1000 and it has an iPhoto icon and a preview icon so if picasa is iphoto and is skinnable then i guess i will get it.

and there's a trial version, well...if u are rich you can buy it...
or you can get warez or crack which i'm not going to tell u where to get it
