[bug] Msn Chat Windows!

Ok, as confusing as this may sound here is what i have been facing lately with msn 6.1, (beta and normal release version) with and without The Unknown's Skin...

The chat windows after i have minimized them for one or two times keep on getting smaller (the part under the file menu and such) but... the file menu and so on part gets all bloated and starts making a space in between which ends up being a laggin image of what was over it before...

You have to see the image to understand...

Hope someone can help me

edit: could minimizing to MD have something to do? im ommiting the msn class for now to see what happens, but it will be a pain in the ass, i wont get any notification of new messages! THAT SUCKS!

yeah..it happens to me too. But only if i minimize and maximize with MobyDock. Maybe that's a mobydock bug

If its a MD dock, could a mod move it to the proper forum? sorry about that...

Damn, is there a workaround? i hate not being able to tell when i get a message!

Its not a mobydock bug.. I Had the same problem when i used win2k with blackbox as shell. I havent got any clue why it happens, but i dont think it has anything to do with mobydock :)

I DONT WANT OD!!

Oh well, i usually use trillian, only use MSN for cam and mic chat, which i dont do that often so...

i would still like a way to fix it tough!

@Wizard... <_<

Don't worry, it's probably a "feature" microsoft added so you can read Aqua-Soft better while chatting :)

you got something wrong man... :banging: :banging: :banging: :banging:

you got he fu******* MSN plus! that's why you got these problems!!

cause MSN plus modify the DLLs and after that you change one more time the DLLs by customizing your icons and others...

try to drop plus! this is bull"mr. hankey" that make your computer slow... oh yeah you can not change your font color or send a sound but... is that realy necessary??? i guess no :P

try it and tell us if after a reinstallation of the original MSN6.1 it work fine :woot: :woot: :woot: :woot:

#78997

i don't have msn plus installed and it happend. <_

#78998

I've also experienced this effect too, unfortunately

#79182

Ok, ill uninstall the bullmr.hankey and report back ;)

#79183

gg Seph i'm sure it'll work :6 :6 :6 :6

#79222

it still doesnt work kerin, i uninstalled plus i uninstalled messenger and clearted the application data folder...

As soon as i use it with MD screening it trough its Taskbar... it starts messing up... its not the speed at which my cmop runs its the damn window bug that will eventually make me loose acces to the message window...

Any other clues?

#79224

i got an expression:

if you want to touch the sky, fu** a duck and try to fly

maybe for you, you should try to fu** something else :P

do you have the lastest version of MB?? did you try to reinstall it??

#79268

 LOL

Well what is MB , Messenger Beta?

And what do you think i should "naughty word"? ;)

#79273

WEll, ive realized taht it is indeed an MD bug, and its not only with MSN windows (altough its the only one which actually screws up after the shrinkage), after a few minimize and restores, photoshop and even opera will start shrinking...

We should let moby know about this...

Cheers

PS: IF there is a workaround, do tell me!! (one not involving intercourse with ducks or other such animals)
