How can I paste a Text from Windows to MS DOS?

rightclick and select paste

Let's say I highlighted the text then Ctrl+C then open the MS DOS app not the console typing, when I press Ctrl+V the paste shortcut it shows ^V???

BTW, XP user here.....

Just do as Timan said, it's the only way afaik.

control-v does not work in the dos screen... as they said, you can right click your mouse and there's a choice to paste
