That does not matter if it is not a new idea, the one by sony looks nice. I'm amazed that anyone would buy the compaq III

all laptop i had..mind u...5 of them, they are all sony

they are the most stylish laptop i ever seen

also, when talking about upgrading, there's not much point as sony laptops are so powerful that it can last quite a while...

and if u want, u can upgrade it btw! Recently, i took my PCG-Z1 and upgrade from 1.3 GHz Pentium M to 1.7 Ghz Pentium M in less than 5 mins!! The person just unscrewed one of the cover and use this thingy and plugged the cpu out and replace with new one..

Also, sony laptop can be customised u noe
