Hello, I thought I would announce this update since it's a significant change to the theme. MercNvert has a new tab style (4 point radius - no border active). This theme is an inverted color scheme of Max Rudbergs Mercury icons/theme. I will make available, if there is interest, in a Panther skinned background as shown in next screenshot. Available at my site now.

lynchknot, I tried to install your safari skin on updated firebird 7.0 version, but
somehow skin won't apply properly....I'm just wondering is it only my problem or
anyone else has same problem?

Lynch, man am I loving ~CDN Ext...the look now of my special Mercnvert theme without the File, Edit, Go, ect., text is just very, very clean!
The titlebar/caption text from TD VS just stands out now...Hell, I'm even diggin the 'shark' icon... When it's convient, go on MSN, so that I may transfer a 'ss'...
Looks great Lynchknot, Mercnvert is one of my fav alltime themes by you. Nice of you to update it! (Y)

Any chance of updating the Classic Saf skins for the latest nightlies (0.7+ after mid-November)?
As you no doubt know there was a big change in skin and extension support (from widgets) in November nightlies, which means scroll bars etc are not visible when using older skins.
I've tried some of your "for latest nightlies" and "for version 1.5 latest builds" (I assume the 1.5 refers to full Mozilla - are these OK for Firebird latests?), but either they don't install properly (as the above post says), or are missing scroll bars (including in option windows etc).

You make the best firebird themes. They're all I've ever used. But you neglect thunderbird oh so much. I would imagine thunderbird uses pretty much the same 'theme' xml type language as firebird. Do some fellow AS's a favor, and convert some of those beautiful FB skins to TB.! kthx
Thanks but there is more involved than just converting the theme. Most all the icons are different and there are more.
I don't want to develop Thunderbird themes, at this time, because Thunderbird is in an early stage and there will be many theme breakages due.
Also, I am not going to do Firebird nightlies anymore. I was too difficult to maintain 2 versions of the same theme, times many, at my site.

Ah ok, well thanks for keeping them up while they lasted though. Not sure if you are aware yet but they just put in a really nice new Download Manager window to replace the sidebar and separate window boxes. Normally your excellent GANT theme will just move on as the nightly builds roll out but some type of changed must have occured because back and forward dont appear anymore when using the GANT theme! its too bad too cause I really like the theme, but the Download Manager I feel is much better and thus have reverted to the default theme so I can still use the browser. If you feel like making a change, thats kewl, if not thats kewl too just thought I'd let you know! Thanks for everything man keep up the great work.
Most people use the milestone release. When release 8 comes up, I will update my whole site. Nightlies are mainly for beta testers and sometimes are very buggy.
I'm tired of updating over and over again because of theme breakages within the nightlies.

Yeah - thanks for your hard work - if it wasn't for your lovely Saf skins, I would never have tried FB in the first place!!
Hmmm - yeah it is annoying how FB keeps changing its standards...but as someone on the nightly forums said...those nightlies are called the bleeding edge for a reason!!
