Aqua-Soft ForumsAfter doing some mac os X customizing with Y'z dock, objectbar, and mac transformation pack my saved excel documents no longer launch the program. I can, however, launch excel and then open those same documents. It seems as though the saved files don't reference the program any longer. I've tried to disable each mod one by one but same result so it is not caused by any mod program running. Any suggestions? Thanks!

can you redo the file type associations in folder options > file types? just re-associate .xls, etc. with excel.
Strange....I have the same problem at work.....and haven't been able to fix it.
Can someone whos excel files DO launch the program and file post the line arguments for opening. Go to folder options and then click on file types. Scroll all the way down to the XLS file type and click advanced. Now single click to highlight the "Open" and click edit. Please copy and paste the whole argument in a reply so I can see if mine is missing something. Thanks!!
wow, i just tried it out. mine doesn't work either. weird. at least word still opens properly.
thanks for the screenshot. It did not entirely work though. When I click on a file now, it gives error messages that it cannot find the file and make sure it hasn't been renamed. Funny thing is, these files look like files that have recently been used in excel but it is not the one I am trying to open. Almost like it is scrolling through some recently used document list and tries to open each one before finally getting to my file and then it does open.
