[help] Changing Microsoft Office Icons

Hi everyone-

I downloaded new Office X Icons, but I can't change the Icons inside the file. Is there a program that will let me do this? Any techniques I can use? Thanks!

I just started with this yesterday, and got everything set up but it took a lot of trial and error. Yuck. Anyways, is there a FAQ for people just getting started at this?

If not, once I feel pretty comfortable with it I might just write one.
