Brent Spiner (lt. Commander Data - Sttng)

[This thread should have been titled [Offtopic Debate] but there is no icon for it.

I just saw a rerun of Star Trek TNG "Inheritance" and it featured Data playing a very good piece of classical music on the violin.

Do you think Brent Spiner really knows how to play a violin solo in real life?

I searched through google but only came up with this chat thread but it only has Brent giving a very vague answer.

From what I saw, it looked like he was actually playing it right... then again, he is a talented actor and Broadway artist so he might just be pulling our legs.

So anyone who's got insight on this, write on...

im here...however, im not sure if he really could play or sing....especially after reading that q&a thing with him
