I'm working on a Panther style Boot screen for Win XP SP1 and possibly non SP1 Win XP. I need some pics to make this boot screen. Thanks in advance.
Need Some Pics Of The Real Panther Boot Screen.
There are already couple of these, and they're REALLY good. I suggest you to do something else. Unless you want to practise boot screen making.
Oh ok.
was wondering if you had any links to some of them

@SteviewBM : please understand that there are some people who are absolutely new to the forum .. there is no need to be so infuriatingly sarcastic in your posts .. if you dont know the answer or dont feel like sharing it .. please refrain from such posts because it does no good.
thanks for understanding.
ps. i am someone who suffered through a couple of such posts from you - needlessly clicking on the links to be taken to google or some such ...

The point of my links, whilst sarcastic, is the fact that there are search engines for a good reason.
The forum's search button isn't there just to look pretty, and nor is Google.
What I'm trying to illustrate is that people ask questions, needlessy cluttering the forums with endless "where can I find X?" threads, when they could use their own initiative and search, which would get them what they're after much more quickly.
I know there are some people who are new to the forum - believe it or not, I've only been here since May (as you can see under my avatar), but even then I used the search system, and took the time to look around here, on Google and on AquaXP before posting a question.
I can understand that there are people who are new not only to Aqua-Soft, but also to forums, but the Search button is always one of the first things they see on the site, so there's little excuse for not using it.
I support you aquaslave....we shouldn't forget that we were ****ies too...
Peace and understanding, gentlemen!
i am a moderator of another technical forum at work ... and these topics of contention crop up ever so often. i always say that the very existence of a forum should be to serve its members. please remember that there are no silly questions ... probably only silly answers. if a member feels like asking a question at a forum, other members have the option of responding to it .. but i think it would be prudent to include a suggestion (like requesting the use of the search feature) alongwith a constructive response to the question.
why use sarcasm as the vehicle for suggestion when you probably know that it can alienate some members ? i know that when i received a couple of such responses from you before, i was pretty pissed off but i did not respond then.
please people ... let us all be as constructive as possible without alienating new members who could be bringing in a wealth of information and experience to this community in the long run.
peace again.
ps. having said all that : here are some links to panther boot skins (these are bootskin files) :

I don't mean to offend, honestly I don't.![]()
I just have a very dry, sense of humour, and I do, as often as possible, try to be constructive, but there are just times (like this thread) that I hurriedly respond with something simple. Yes, I realise that my sarcasm isn't necessarily to everyone's tastes, but I'm afraid that's just part of who I am.
When all's said and done, though, my point does still stand - the search is there for a reason. The more people that use it and read what's been said, the less work mods have to do, and the less likely we are to whine and moan about the amount of crap that gets posted.
Yes, I know we were all new once, and that the forum is there to serve its members, but if every new member since I joined were to post a single thread asking a question that had already been answered, we'd be 9000-odd threads deeper in threads which add almost nothing to the community.
Don't get me wrong - this is not to say that having this many members is a bad thing, or that the extra members add nothing to the community, I'm just trying to put across the fact that there are a lot of people whose actions are being monitored by a very small few. So far, the staff have managed, but, as I say, if everyone where to post a new thread, it would become crazy, and people would end up leaving.
We're just here to try to strike a balance between Aqua-Soft being a forum and a mess.
To make it up to all of those of you who I've upset, feel free to tell any attractive young women you may know to spank me :moon:
:naughty:
Aquaslave, Stevie: come here boys! :orgy: This is the way that I wanted it to end. ![]()
Stevie is a MOD!
:naughty: ![]()
CONGRATS!
PS I agree with Stevie, search is not there to be pretty!
@Stevie : cool man (Y)
to all mods : i understand that there are so few of you to monitor so many of us ... can i volunteer my services to the aquasoft community ? i am not very active currently but i am more than willing to pitch in (in whatever capacity). please let me know ...
thanks
