What is the world coming to? Now there is a Mac version of WMP9. I saw this over at http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsme...sx/default.aspx .
There is supposed to be a new "brushed" skin.

Can confirm the image as accurate. It runs a lot nicer than the previous version, which was terrible. The speaker button turns red when muted, that's about the only thing of note which the above post doesn't highlight.
Reminds me of how much I miss the raised widgets against the embedded ones in Panther - one element where I miss Jaguar. The speed makes up for it, however.
They at least could have taken out the blue prograss bar is they made everything else look similar to aqua.

A tleast we know that Mac gets the same quality from Microsoft as Windows does.
Yeaaaaah, M$ should have put their whole ass into this.
About half of the streams break up in the middle, or freeze, but on my WinBox its fine.
Just doesn't seem as well done as I had hope for.
(like it better than the annoying "I'm trying to be the default everything remotely close to media in your PC", swear that pisses me off)
