Hi, whenever i click on the control panel icon in mobydock, it opens up "My computer" folder instead of the control panel folder. Why is that so?... in the item properties, it is stated as a"system item" therefore i thought it should work... hmm, pls advice. thank you.
Above 'This is a System Item' make sure that in the dialog box it says 'Control Panel' and not 'My Computer'. This is the only thing I can think of. Otherwise drag the Control Panel icon off the dock and add it in again. Hopefully that will fix it.
hey sid, it doesn't work. i deleted the control panel icon, and i added again... it stills open 'my computer' folder instead. odd....
I just did a quick test and it worked...
Right click the separator and select "add new item"
In the dislpay-name box type: Control Panel
In the application-path box type: control
pick an icon
hit accept
Works for me...
