On downloading and installing Yz toolbar I remember there might be an option...but can't get it back!

yes.. I too wish to get rid of that flag. :rant: Maybe it can be replaced by another picture.
Y'Z Toolbar gets rid of it, doesn't it?
throboff is the registry method of getting rid of the flag. you can edit the image in a system file, i think shell32.dll (but i may be wrong). you can edit the ie ones using tweakui, group policy editor, or through the registry.
i remember someone saying how y'z toolbar didn't really work all the time, maybe during maximization or something. maybe people just don't want to run an app to remove it.
The other option is to turn it off in gpedit.msc <_

gpedit.msc shouldn't be on the Home version, which is why I can't get into the Group Policy Editor.

Sorry - I just assume that everyone uses WinXP Pro or Server 2003 :shy:
