If you set "minimize to system tray" in iTunes Sidekick, but disable the tray icon, something cool happens. When you minimize the program, it disappears - no icon, no window, all gone - but it still plays. When you want to see it again, all you have to do is click on the iTunes docklet, and it calls it back. Isn't that sweet!
The only problem is, you can't control "next song" etc when it's hidden. So you have to bring it back to change the song. But it's still cool!
