Please read the Readme.txt for installation instructions.. They are very straight foward.. You simply put the .dll into the Plug-Ins dir.. Anyways..

WARNING:

Please remove any other "Always on Top" Mods/Plugins you may have before running iTunes with this plugin.. Who knows what will happen.. hehe..

WARNING:

Please make sure that you have "Show in System Tray" in the iTunes Advanced option menu checked.

Ok well thats it, Download Away... Report any bugz..

do you mean "ONLY IN MINI MODE" ?? because it should minimize to tray even tho its in Mini Mode....

I'm wondering why this doesn't work for me. I have the latest version of iTunes, installed the prugin directly according to instructions, restarted iTunes and... nothing. Right-clicking the program title does nothing, in either modes.

make sure iTunes is closed before attempting to add the plug-in to the directory.. remember to exit from the SYSTEM TRAY.. also, make sure that the directory your making is exactly titled "Plug-Ins" without the quotes.. then reopen iTunes.. also please be sure no other Always on Top plugins are in that folder.. that could be messing things up as well.. Also, if none of the above works.. restart you computer and then rerun iTunes..

Oh, goodness. I feel so ashamed. This reminds me of the time I couldn't figure out why I could only listen to music on my computer out of one stereo speaker, and couldn't for the life of me figure out what the problem was. I made sure the volume balance was centered and even had my system sent off to be checked. Half a year later (!) it turned out that my WINAMP speaker balance settings were off-center.

So, yes, I created the new folder under the name of "plugins" and not "Plug-Ins".

Yessssssssss! Thanks so much for this little plugin! The only thing I could wish for now is allowing showing in systray only while still showing the mini-mode window (winamp and QCD both have this feature)... right now, there's minimize to systray but then the minimode window isn't displayed either.

Yeah, sorry. I meant that it would be nice if, when in mini mode, the iTunes icon appeared only in the system tray, not in the taskbar.

I love it!! Your the sidekick is awesome! I didn't try version 1 because i saw the opacity was going to be in 1.1. My only suggestion would be to research exactly how it could interact with albeik's docklet. Then maybe (here comes a pipe dream) you could come up with some nifty combo dealie... i don't know... maybe that's a crappy suggestion. But the point is, I like your plug-in. You are my hero this week.
