Instant Autohide / Show

Hey everyone,

I've looked through MobyDock's INIs and the configuration applets, and I can't seem to find one setting that would allow me to remove the slide in / slide out animation used when autohide is enabled. Is there any way to disable this? I'd like to simply have it slide in and slide out instantly without any transition.

Thank you,

Vincent T. Vantine

That's a great question! I also hate that "feature" in ModyDock. That is a big reason I can't use MobyDock on a daily basis, it just takes too long to reappear IMO.

Agreed...but I still run Moby because it's the best! :D

But it would be nice if Moby allowed us to speed this up through settings.

i've used y'z, moby, and od and am pretty sure that none of them behave like that.

however there are several forums out there for wishlists!

Actually, I've been able to do it on both Y'z and ObjectDock; though I must admit that Y'z does it the best, it looks incredibly smooth and very reminiciant of the real OSX dock.

just don´t use the autohide feature.

i just leave 'always on top' unticked.

and evertime i move my mouse where mobydock is (although i don´t see it) it pops up without delay

Please read before posting.

There is a thread with "WISH LISTS" and its pinned at the top. Also, this thing you talk about has already been mentioned to moby.

Add your other inputs for this master piece dock, instead of creating your own thread for it.

Thank you.

Thank you for titling your thread with the right tag btw. :rule:
