Aquawinx - Conversion Of Aquax For Kde

First time posting here... Anyway, besides thanking every member of this community for their posts, I wanted to do something so I decided to convert the wonderful AquaX icon pack from www.kde-look.org to .ico. It's taking a while since I have to Photoshop all the icons, and set the transparencies mannualy, but at least it looks really good...

Let me know if you guys want me to do it or not....

It'll take some time, I'm in college so I have to study besides aquafying, but I should be able to do a beta theme by the end of the week...

They all look really good.

I may be mistaken, but I know i've seen all these before, and even have some of them on my PC. Someone may have beaten you to the punch. Maybe the guy who made them for KDE borrowed them from someone else.

I could be completely wrong, because I have no factually information to say who actually created these icons, I just KNOW i have personally had some of these icons in windows, and seen them quite a few times. Specifically the chat icon.

If I am just a big idiot, convert them, as they are perty+ icons.

It would be an excellent idea if you didn't include the "Quantum Foam folders" from Hein's release. Those are specifically prohibited from redistribution by any means without permission. You wouldn't happen to have a link from KDE that you got them from would you?

I tried researching myself, I browsed around KDE-Look.org but couldnt' find any. Then I searched google for 'AquaX' which he states the icons are from. All the AquaX theme is, is a GTK widget set. Doesn't even include any icons.

Funny though, before reading your reply to him, I read a big topic about Hein saying goku stole his icons or something. If he saw this he'd probably sh*t a brick.

ali par saveta, ova zajednica je jako stroga po pitanju objavljivanje tudjih radova ili konverzacije bez pisane dozvole autora. Bolje je da izbrises pomenute quantum folders ikone jer njih je radio Hein koga vec duze vreme pokusavamo da privolimo da nam ponovo omoguci konverziju njegovih ikona sa Mac na PC.

PS Sorry for not writing in english guys but i just told the guy our policy about posting conversions and welcomed him in the community (u got that part :lol: )

Ok, I had no idea that this was somebody elses. The pack is called AquaX, and I distinctivelly remember getting it from www.kde-look.org, but I'll look into it and get the actual link for you guys. Again, I'm honestly sorry - I just thought the icons looked nice, and I never assumed... well, in any case, work on this project will be stopped. However, if anyone has any ideas re: icons or wallpapers they'd like me to do, please let me know. Again, sorry for any (if any) harm.

P.S. (Unbeliever) Hvala ti mnogo, posebno mi je drago da vidim nekog iz bivse SFRJ ovde (nisam siguran odakle si, ali meni to nema veze). Mnogo cenim ovaj sajt, tako da stvarno nisam hteo da "maznem" tudji rad... Imao sam ove ikone negde, te pomislih: "bilo bi kul ako bih mogao ovo da podelim sa drugima". To je to. Stvarno se nadam da niko nije "pissed-off"....

Sorry again for not writing in English... this is the last time. Also, it would be cool if the mods could close this thread, simply because I won't be working on this, and I don't want to cause a fuss.... I am able to convert other icons, but I'm seriously scared that they're probably in the same boat as the Quantum Folders ones, so I'll just stop working on this. Again, if you want me to make some icons, let me know... Otherwise, I'll think of another project...

no prob milos, u didn`t make any prob, and it was very, very nice of u to apologise. u didn`t piss anybody off (well maybe contra, (if he saw this :6 ) he`s a die hard DRM fan :lol: ) by the way i`m from Belgrade, i think ur gonna have more respect points than me if u continue beeing this nice to everyone
