I found this thread at KDE-LOOK.ORG . I'm new to Linux so this looks like the best ObjectBar look-alike I've seen. I guess it works for KDE and not Gnome, I will test it out later tonight.

This cannot be "similar" to ObjectBar. ObjectBar can remove the title menus from many applications and apply those menus to any bar that you create. That is the main reason that ObjectBar was created... to emulate the look and feel of the Mac's OS similar to what its former sibling (MacVision) was supposed to do.

I merely posted a link to something kool, not trying to start a debate about what OB is or is not. Thank you.

I got it to work in Gnome, not sure if all options work that way though. Next I'll try it in KDE.
