Unix Pathnames

this is kewl: u can use unix pathnames in windows. no aquacontrols req'd or programs to be downloaded etc. this is easy 2. just go to run and type a pathname with items separated by / rather than \ and starting with / rathar than ur hdd letter and a : (but if the windows directory is on a drive other than c u need to type that letter and : (ie d:/program files))

and as always

oh! two more things: so some admin who doesn't know this doesn't take this down, osx is based on dariwin: an apple-made version of unix like a cross between linux and bsd. and this doesn't work in explorer

#72382

oh and when i say explorer i mean an explorer window not the run dialog box.
