Or there is the next town over from where I live where they threaten you with various sharp implements unless you give them something alcoholic.

So they treaten you with chocolate pudding if you don't have alcohol? That's the weirdest thing I ever heard of. 
Sharp implements are always a good time, especially when mixed with alchohol.
I used to live in DC and on halloween, all the embassies there would allow trick or treaters to come and get some goodies. Now the cool part is each country held rue tho there heritage. Russian emabassy would give out vodka, french wine and cheese. Because the land that the embassies sit on, abide by the rules of that country, they were allowed to do this. You just had to consume the goods on the property. always a good time.

Now that's awsome. You get to experience all types of cultures. I like that.

Where I'm from (Detroit) we have "Devil's Night". The night before Halloween we would go out and wreak havoc on the community. And the more hardcore types would even set empty buildings and dumpsters on fire!
lol im gunna be a girl! (i'll maybe post pics). but any waysill be reakiing some heavy havock on the neighbors i hope
havoc wreaking is always very good on devils night. Kids in this area get pretty crazy too, no buildings on fire or anything that extreme but still good stuff. One year well all put our money together and bought somewhere in the vicinity of 350 rolls of toilet paper, and hit our highschool. The next day was the funniest day of my life. The entire school grounds were literally COVERED with toilet paper. I wish I had pictures of it, because words cannot describe the extent which we covered the school. :LOL
