Is there any way of linking to the control panel and windows explorer from object dock ??
I no i could add shortcuts to my desktop and link to them via objectdock but is there not an easier way ??

Create new shortcut,,name it what you will,,browse to Windows folder,,then System32,,then look for Control Panel link there.Double click to have the Dock pick it up.

But have u got any clue what the control panel is called in that folder ??
I have looked through it and there is nothing that even comes close to standing out as control panel to me so am i missing something ?? <_<

Type "explorer.exe" in the "Links:" area.
Copy & paste the following text into the "Arguments:" area.

Change the icon image & title, click "OK" and you're done.

That should just be explorer.exe in the c:/windows directory. Unless you want something fancy.
