no, i'm serious. in evanston, illinois, it's illegal for kids to trick or treat. i think because it might be too dangerous, and perhaps the real reason, because this town is full of old people who don't really want to give candy.
anyway, my university has this special day where we give out candy to little kids who can't go trick or treating.
bowling is also illegal (it attracts the wrong crowd, yet pool is ok), as is riding bikes on sidewalks (an old person got hit by a biker). strange town.
Oh man dreamz, I have five words for you. GET OUT OF THAT TOWN! No bowling?!? No running over old people with a bike. What kind of sick mind runs that city? Hey, fellow Aqua-Softians, I got an idea :who's your daddy: .
well, it's basically an old-people town. actually, the area was the university's property initially, but the university decided to give it to the people, so now they're making all these legislative changes.
and i graduate in june! wheee!! :woot:
