Kepping The Normal Windows Menu....

I want to use a theme for objectbar Xero made that can be found over at:

http://www.wincustomize.com/skins.asp?libr...ry=4&SkinID=284

But i dont want to use the normal menu that drops down when u click the apple sign i want to keep the normal task bar and use the windows menu instead.

Anyone got any idea if this is possible or not ??

I seen he had done it in one of his screenshots of his windowblinds skin at:

http://www.wincustomize.com/skins.asp?libr...y=1&SkinID=3490

But i havent a clue how he did and need help getting it to work like he has it.

I just prefer using the windows menu as its easier for me to get to stuff with how i have my icons but i want the look using objectbar.

Any help would be appreciated. (Y)

You could replace the shortcut anywhere in that area with Press Start found here http://www.tsoftcentral.com/tools/ ,This iz what I use to give me the Start Menu.It is very simple/easy to use and free. You can use it on yer Dock or anywhere you want that shortcut.

Another possibility is to change the behavior of the Apple button.

Right click the Apple button -> Properties -> Behavior tab -> System Commands in the drop-down box -> Yes to changing the behavior and losing the old one -> More System Commands drop-down list -> Popup Real Start Menu.

Warning: This feature does not work for me as of version 1.55, which is the version I think I got some time last August, just before my ObjectDesktop subscription expired. I'm almost positive there have been a few releases since then though. But just in case, if it doesn't work, unload ObjectBar, do not save changes when asked, and load ObjectBar again. It should still work. Or you can just use brazil's method, which is probably easier, though it requires loading up another program.

Edit: And it seems brazil's method is exactly what you did while I typed out my long response. >.<
