Lol dude this is hardly scandelous. I wouldnt be at all suprised if Microsoft has thousands of Apple computers. And vice versa for Apple.
But the guy got fired for this. ![]()
Yeah, they do sell mac products, its just humorous, not something to crack up for.
How pathetic. Microsoft said that since he took those pictures of G5'S being sent to Microsoft, it was a secruity violation. What they are afraid to admit that Apple has a better OS and hardware?!? Poor guy.
hahah, its like that coke guy's pic drinking a pepsi (oh my god i can hear taha's footsteps on his way to kill me for blasphemy!).
But yeah, they prolly have to test office v.X and stuff like that on macs directly in their HQ dont you think? ![]()

first of all microsoft doesnt make any hardware. Second they devolp software for OSX. Third if they admited it were a better os woulnt they have orders more then like 8?
To differ, they make mice, joysticks, steering wheels and network cards, among others.

Even if it was this reason, why would Microsoft order his company to fire him because it's a security hole thingie. That's not really justified. I would think Microsoft would be smart enough to just mind their own business unless they're hiding something, which is obvious. Also, I was exaggerating on my "why don't they admit that Apple makes better hardware". The they won't admit it part I was exaggerating.
Third if they admited it were a better os woulnt they have orders more then like 8?
They are Micrsoft, they have enough resources to buy 2/5 of the world! Also they have a larger exec. staff that 8.
Actually, I agree with him getting fired (begin flame war).
MS and other places, including the company I work for, have strict policies regarding the use of cameras in their facilities.
This is posted at every entrance of every building I go into where I work.
I also happen to know that MS has the same policy.
Several of my co-workers used to work for MS and it is strictly forbidden.
So, it's not the fact that he photographed MS receiving a shippment of G5's, no big deal there, it's the fact that he took the picture in the first place.
And on top of all that, he posted it on the web, an even bigger no no.
Not to be harsh... but rules are rules. Follow them and you keep your job.
Break them and it's bye bye.
How are they gonna make anything for OS X without a mac? Office:MAC had to be tested ya know.
Josh
lets face it, if you had about 50 Billion in the bank, you'd buy a few G5s ![]()

I guess it's just my anti-capatalist, big business hating, power to the little man when he acts as a media journalist but nothing happens to the real defacers that appear on T.V. heart talking again.
Bah...shame the guy lost his job...
It's pretty sad b/c of the way the economy is right now.
Hope he finds a new job.

Wow, just as soon I though that I could get away from Anime by moving from Gaming Force, Goku just takes it to another level <_< .
I agree Taha. Pepsi sucks (do I get a cookie, or perhaps a potato?). I'm addicted to the Vanilla Coke. Man, that stuff pushes all the right buttons.
I don't see why people are making such a big deal about this. Microsoft obviously needs to get the latest Apple products to test their products (Office v.X comes to mind).
Sad that they fired the guy for such a small thing though. ![]()

i have to disagree that the guy was acting like a media journalist. he was just poking fun at the company he worked for. and i think this is pretty clear evidence that microsoft doesn't like being made fun of.
on another note, i'm drinking a vanilla coke as i type and it is simply delicious!
poor guy. getting fired is a sad affair.
So, taking photos of "the desk I've been working on", "friends at work during lunch break" and stuff like that is out of the question, right? ![]()
By the way, I haven't yet tried Vanilla Coke. Coca-Cola Light for me, with tons of ice, or just plain Coke.
