Aqua-Soft Forumscheck out the pictures of the G4 Cube case.
Its basically a 'shell' for the G4 cube. The company sells several of them, but I personally liked the G5-like aluminum casing the best.

OMFG, but I think the 5 people who had a chance to buy the Cube would rather have Apple make a G5 cube. But that would be too hot, it would probly melt the friggin' thing. Nice though.

That is the one thing that I really want. An updated cube that doesn't get too hot. The cube in that picture is beautiful
i actually like the original better, the aluminum makes it look bigger rather than smaller and makes it look a bit clunky. Kindof ruins the aesthetics of the original imirrelevanto.

The problem is you won't get it. Apple took it off because it was generating too much heat. That was a G4, do you know how much more heat the G5 makes. The front and panel of the G5 PowerMac is not for cosmetic reasons. They would have to smack in so many fans then it wouldn't even be small and it would sound as loud as an F-18 taking off and would have enough energy to indulge the sun! OK, that was exageration, but true to an extent.

uh, isn't taha talking about an accessories company that isn't apple.
some neat ideas at the link(didn't check it out first time), though didn't see the pictures you posted there... the mesh looks really chintzy, though some of the billet cases look really really well done.
