Does it do it regardless of what you're burning? Or is it a certin ISO/BIN file?
I know i've had bin/cue's before that kept erroring when I was trying to burn. Usually if you delete the .cue file, then find bin2iso (search google) it'll create a new .cue file for it, which usually fixes the problem for me. Don't know if that's the same problem you're having. ![]()
Well in the title itself you have stated that you get this error when you burn at speeds greater than 40x. Perhaps the CDs you are writing don't support burning at > 40x or maybe your writer doesn't support speeds of more than 40x (although I doubt that it's the writer).

Ya, most the time nero and most apps, wont let you chose an option faster then your burner, or the media supports.
But this guy isn't quick to add any new info to try to get help, so oh well. :banging:
