in state of using a thread for the "requested features" and for the "bug repport" where all the versions are mixed, is it possible to set up 2 sub-forum?
with it people can post a suggestion, discuss on it without making the thread a big mess, it would be usefull not to have 2 same requested features or bug repport...
i know it take time for the admin (i'm a board admin to).

we've been enforcing it like fukknuts.
nice idea.
However with 2 sub forums you get repetitive topics, only cause a small group of members dont bother UTFS. (UTFS=Law)
Also, I came into a conclusion that in this case sub forums cause only more delay and hirarchy that make it boring and annoying to browse around, which leads to MORE redundent topics popping up. In a forum such as customizing where things are divided into many kinds of emulation I'd definitely go for sub forum, exclusively to create order.

I think you skipped the "tags" laid out for you each time you post a topic/reply (right below the text box) - So please next time choose the tags to describe your topic correctly.. Thanks.

i've seen your tags this is a good idea but if you don't want your forum become a big mess, force your members to post the "bugs" and "request" in the dedicated thread don't suggest these icons in the list.
I mean that if someone has a bug to report and you don't want to create a section for it but only a thread, don't propose him to set the icon "Bug" 
i trust you got your reasons i was suggesting this because it's the most common forum organisation for software support

Look - thats the forum for PROTEUS 3: HERE - it does have a section for bugs, however, dividing a developement forum such as mobydock will lead to create a "request" sub forum as well. Not saying its bad, but i think along with the tags and the ability to PIN bug report thread, there is no immidiate need for a sub forum.
i.e : moby has released a new version of the dock, we create a new bug report pinned topic and unpin the previous bug report thread after its bugs got fixed, etc.

most common are not the best maybe... the example of bill doesn't mean anyway that the most common is not efficient... i'm not a windows supporter but it contribute to make the coputers more accessible to most of the people even if it's not the most efficient.
Unix rox, windows swing... thats all they don't play in the same category
(this can lead to a formidable discution but i hate it so...)
