[help]need To Burn Linux Cd

OK, I cant get my mac online as of yet, so I d/led the Yellow dog linux cds on my PC. When I burn on of the CDs the computer wont read it or somthing. and gives me a grey screen and does nothing. Mac OS X will read the CD but not well.

My external USB CD-RW drive reads and does everything flawlessly, How can I boot from that? Is it possible?

Is there any way I can burn them better? I burned them at 2x speed. And I tryed 1x too.

Make sure "burn proof" or "protection againt buffer underrun" is on.
