Iatm Panther 0.1.2

Hey.....

I've planned this yesterday... And when I login, I saw an ATM Panther by ihartmacz. But it seems its banned cause she is distributing the AquaControls which is the core of all Aqua Apps by Jeffrey Frabutt.

So, I've created an ATM which is FULLY CREATED by me. Except the JPEG.

As I've said this is a BETA build. There are minor bugs... UI is not yet completed.

Created completely in Visual Basic 6.0 Enterprise.

EXPECT THE NEW VERSION THIS WEEK!

Sorry for the UI. Im not a Graphics Guru.......

1. In the "more info" box, the icon on the top left is kind of out of place. Can you replace it with a real OSX icon?

2. Doesn't the real ATM have rounded title bars?

3) contra: no, its not rounded titlebar. Tool windows titlebar on the osx are slim and rectangeled.

Odd... the program wouldn't launch on my comp (WinXP SP 1) until I set the compatibility mode to Windows 2000.

In some screenshots, the title bar of ATM is thin... In AquaCOntrols, its a slim, thin titlebar that is why ihartmacz uses aqua controls. If I use the rounded, coz I use toolwindow, its because it displays an Icon.....

Since Im not a VB Guru. THis is a beta build.

I will do my best for this........

how do u edit the toolwindow on a wb4 theme? maybe we could integrate the atm app into the wb4 theme so wb will skin it rather than create Panther controls to have the same titlebar..

Link isn't dead, and you're definately not crazy. It's your nameserver that is. Looks like for some reason it can't find the IP of that address.

I was planning on just giving you the IP address, but since that's a VHOST, if you just use the IP, it takes you to 50free's main homepage. So .. you can either try to use a different nameserver by going into your TCP/IP settings. OR.

Go into your hosts file (NT/XP C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\) (9X C:\windows\system32\hosts)

open the 'hosts' file in notepad, and add the following line

209.25.134.192 jed717ph.50free.net

Then restart your browser, (possibly even PC) and try again. As I said, if you just send the IP address, the 50free.net takes you to the main page, because your browser is requesting the page by IP. If you do that little work around, your browser will ask 50free.net's HTTP server for the real named address, and thus forth, you should get taken to the right place.
