Aqua-like Scrolling

Hi,

Check out what I did in Flash. It took me a bit to do the moving w/o traveling effect.

Aqua Scroll

Bye,

very nice. But see I think it can be done in windows, somehow program specific, because Itunes for windows has it.

Nice one, Nando!

yeah i tunes does that. I actualy dont like it as much as the type we have now.

Well, I can't see because I don't have the plug-in installed and it won't install, but I think I know what your talking about. The scroll bars in the playlist right.

Well, this is only run in a program that you created. You'll be making an equivalent of the aol Aqua Controls, which are banned and don't ask about them. You won't be able to add it in explorer or internet explorer because they are using a control that's located in %Windows%/System32/ It works in iTunes because they hard coded, everything. From the playlist, scrolls, titlebar and menus. Maybe in Longhorn, depending on how much more customisable it is, because it does have 3d rendering I believe.

Why Bill Gates?????

Why you insist making UGLIEST and UGLIEST OS! Look at Steve Jobs´ OS and learn!

(Y) looks pretty good, but it's not "smooth" enough, try upping the framerate a little

iTunes does it cause it has its own libraries for this. Thank god, it doesnt use win32 GUI ^_^

And yeah on the mac (even the slowest one) the ripples go REALLY smooth and the scroll bar slides VEEERY smoothly (high frame rate).

Aladdin610 - Whaaaow.

Looks great. :banging:

i don't use macs. can someone explain the difference between the scrolling?

but i agree, it looks neat. :)

#74084

I agree, it's really well done, but you still need to raise the framerate. Try 24fps or even 30fps.

I have no idea where aol came from. I think I was trying to type another word but for some odd reason I was thinking of aol and typed it. It happens to me all the time.

Nice :D

hey alladin610 even though you may think you did you didn't waste any time. you can put useful info in that and use it as a scrollbar or something on a web page. i love it but if the slowness is from low framerate then my computer not only isn't obsolete but asks you to up the rate.
