ah thanks so much.. will try it later..
hmm im sorry to not include these earlier but how abt these??
what files shld i hack?
Those you have to change from the iexplorer.exe
changed and replaced with replacer or somethng? weird... have you changed the one on shell32? i think theres one.. not sure though
i have already changed most of the icons on my system except for these...
feel like giving up...
weird... i have mine changed and i changed it in iexplore.exe
maybe explorer.exe? not sure about that last one tough...
i tried it but its still the same.. darn!..
everything looks good on my system except for the IE and the GO button...
damn it!
Ok, here it goes:
Search for this 'mshtml.dll' file on your system partition. Make sure you enable searching in hidden and system folders. I think the file will appear not only in system32 folder but in something like 'dllcache' or in something more (if you have SP1 installed). Delete all of them apart of that from system32 folder!
Now when you'll replace the icons/bitmaps, and replace the dll, you should get a warning about system files missing insert original CD blahblahblah...and it's done.
I hope ![]()
you could also use replacer to replace those files.
quick and easy, and it does it all for you: http://www3.telus.net/_/replacer/
and if you hate the "go" icon that much, like i do, you can always just remove it completely. ![]()
